Dangerous Goods (DGR)

All shipments must adhere to the terms set out in the IATA’s DGR.

Shipments travelling partially over land must also adhere to the ADR terms and the requirements of the BARD (Board of Airline Directors in Denmark).

As a shipper, you have two options:

1.In the Additional Handling Information box (DGD), specify “Transport in acc. with ADR 1.1.4.2.”

To take advantage of the ADR terms for limited quantities of dangerous goods, also specify “Transport in acc. with ADR 3.4.6.” on the Shipper’s Declaration for Dangerous Goods.

2. Fill out an original ADR transport document and specify “Transport in acc. with ADR 1.1.4.2.”

Safety cards

Always send the appropriate safety and hazard cards with text in the languages of the origin country, the destination country, and any intermediate transit countries.
