Loading principles / security
- Goods should be loaded onto vehicles with individual shipments grouped together in an easily identifiable manner.
- If you deliver several shipments on the same EUR pallet, the individual shipments should be easily distinguished. It is the driver’s responsibility to ensure that the goods are sorted at the AWB level.
- When using consolidated (groupage) shipping, goods from each freight forwarder must be grouped together such that we can identify which goods came from which forwarder.
- Pack goods on EUR pallets such that their AWB numbers can all be read from one side.
Security
Access to the terminal/airside is not permitted without a valid and visible ID card. Guests must be supervised by a CHBA employee. To receive guest access, contact the employee on duty at Customer Service.
Security for delivery of goods
We consider the transport of goods from a known customer to be secure, provided that the transport adheres to the following rules:
- The goods are transported on either the customer’s own or leased vehicles, by the customer’s own drivers.
- The goods are transported on the freight agent’s own or leased vehicles, by their own drivers.
- The goods are transported on the airline’s, or its freight handling company’s, own or leased vehicles and own drivers.
- Alternatively, the goods are transported by transporters that have received a security clearance from the Danish Civil Aviation Administration.
Drivers must identify themselves and present a security clearance. The company name on the security clearance must match the company name on the vehicle. If the driver cannot present a security clearance and a copy of the agreement between the freight agent and the shipper, the shipments will be subject to inspection. The freight forwarder must pay the associated costs.
Goods from known and unknown customers
If we receive mixed goods from both known customers (KC) and unknown customers (non-KC), the shipments will be subject to inspection. The freight forwarder must pay the associated costs.
It is important that the freight forwarder prepare a hand-off manifest for:
1. secure goods (KC/SPX)
2. insecure goods

On MAWB shipments, the freight forwarder must indicate one of the following security statuses:
1. Known (KC)
2. Unknown Consignor
We do not maintain a directory of known customers.
