Customs procedures for imported goods

Goods with T1 status arriving by air (from third countries and from other EU countries):

The manifest system automatically creates an MIG for all shipments arriving by air. The MIG number is indicated in the NOA, which we send out by email upon arrival.

To have FA inserted in the customs reference number / MIO, send an email to chba@bll.dk with the subject FA xxx-xxxxxxxx (AWB no.). In the body of the email, indicate all customs reference numbers preceded by the number of colli.

It is important to also indicate the MIG number from the NOA, which must be corrected and cancelled based on the FUE/MIO.

Goods arriving by truck

If we receive an email with the reference number of a given shipment on its arrival day, we will insert FA as quickly as possible. On the other hand, if we do not receive an email with the reference number on the arrival day, we will create an MIG for use in customs.

In those instances when we create an MIG upon arrival at BLL, the MIG number will be indicated in the NOA sent by email to inform you of its arrival. In those instances when we create an MIG at a later time, we will send a new NOA with the MIG number indicated.

To have FA inserted in the customs reference number / MIO, send an email to chba@bll.dk with the subject FA xxx-xxxxxxxx (AWB no.). In the body of the email, indicate all customs reference numbers preceded by the number of colli.

Sample FA request:

Once we have inserted FA and you have confirmed that everything has the correct status (40, released), send a release email to chba@bll.dk

In the release mail, delete FA from the subject line and add 40 after the customs reference number.

Sample release email:

As a freight forwarder, it is your responsibility to ensure that the customs reference number or MIO is correct and has status 40 (released) at the time of delivery.

If you input incorrect information, you risk paying customs fees.

Even if no duty is to be paid on a shipment according to the Danish Customs and Tax Administration, you must still send a release email following the above guidelines. For example, this applies to shipments with a Carnet, certified goods, etc. Simply replace the customs reference number with the Carnet or other appropriate information.
