Splitting and delivery of imports on HAWB

Below is a description of how to order this service from Cargo Handling Billund Airport

When the MAWB has been counted, Cargo Handling sends an Arrival Notice (NOA) on the shipment
A request for splitting into HAWB is then sent to chba@bll.dk where information is provided the full HAWB overview with HAWB numbers colli and kilos on each HAWB.
The Mail’s Subject field should have this format: 123-12345678 – HAWB Split
- The information is automatically grouped and forwarded to the right instance in Cargo Handling.
Cargo Handling assesses the scope of the task and confirms the return by email with an expected ready departure time.
Customs-wise, the consignment must be fully released at MAWB level before delivery
It is important that the driver who is to pick up is informed if it is a HAWB delivery and that only states the HAWB number on the driving ticket. MAWB number must NOT appear, as the driver by stating the MAWB number, the entire consignment will be delivered.
